The Journey

We are adopting through Lifeline. We are currently working to update our home study. Once we have completed our update, we will re-enter the matching process. We have both seen the power and impact of a large community pouring into the life of a child. We were both surrounded by so many friends, family, mentors, teachers, and supporters growing up and we know that shaped so much of who we are today. We want the same for our children. So many have reached out to us asking how they can help and be involved in our adoption and we are so thankful. Here are a few ways that you can support us:

• First and foremost, PRAYER. Be in prayer for that sweet little one that will one day be ours. Pray for his or her health, safety, growth, and future relationship with the Lord. Pray for his or her birth mother. Pray that the Lord will give her wisdom and comfort as she takes steps and makes decisions for herself and for the child. Pray for her health, safety and relationship with the Lord. Pray for us as the we complete the home study process and await the arrival of our child. Pray for our hearts to be filled with peace as we wait upon the Lord and his perfect timing. Pray that the Lord would prepare us daily for the roles of being this little one's mom and dad.
• BE ON THE LOOKOUT. We will be having fundraising events and still have some t-shirts to sell. Keep an eye out for updates from us on these fundraisers.
• SPREAD THE WORD. Help us share our story.
• GIVE. Adoption requires great financial resources. If you are able and willing, we would so appreciate your financial support. Look out for a link on the blog to our You Caring account.
